Monuriki Island, not Castaway Island, is particularly interesting since it was the island used for the popular blockbuster Castaway with Tom Hanks. Amunuca Island Resort on Tokoriki Island is a well established favorite for divers around the world; remember that it is only accessible to couples.
Diving is slightly off the beaten track here but don't let this prevent you from visiting these idealistic islands. You will find some of the best dive sites in Fiji. Marine life includes from simple coral reef fish to large sharks, from steep pinnacles to high current drifts. Enjoy diving here.
